With the aim of enriching the intangible heritage of children, the hotel has created a Christmas Tale in collaboration with the children's author Mónica Carretero.
The Book
Martina’s grandmother is beginning to forget the magic of Christmas—Mr Forgetfulness has struck again. Thus begins our heartwarming children’s Christmas tale. Through the love, joy, and innocence of Martina and her friends, cherished Christmas memories will come alive once more for her beloved grandmother.
A collaboration with Mónica Carretero
Mónica is a renowned illustrator and writer who has published more than 70 books in England, Australia, and the USA. She has been awarded at the London Book Fair for "Manual de piratas" and received five International Latino Book Awards and one Living Now Award at Book Expo America in New York.
A Festive Season with a purpose
Monica's story addresses a very current topic—Alzheimer's—in a gentle and sensitive way. This inspired us to expand the project and seek an Alzheimer's support organisation to collaborate with during the festivities. We forged a partnership with MANAVA, proudly hosting their Christmas celebration at the hotel, bringing together friends and family for a joyous occasion.
